Earth Broadband: provider update

Earth Broadband is now operated by Home Telecom, following the acquisition of the Earth Broadband brand.

Earth-branded broadband packages continue to be marketed under the Earth name, but broadband services are fulfilled, billed, and supported by Home Telecom.

Customers who choose an Earth Broadband package are redirected to Home Telecom's ordering platform to complete sign-up. This reflects the underlying provider relationship rather than a change in network availability.

Earth Broadband services are delivered over the Openreach network, meaning availability broadly mirrors other Openreach-based broadband providers across the UK.

Depending on location, customers may be offered part-fibre broadband or full fibre (FTTP) connections where Openreach has completed fibre rollout. Full fibre availability continues to expand as Openreach extends its network.

Earth Broadband is positioned as an environmentally focused brand, previously promoting tree-planting initiatives linked to customer subscriptions. Any environmental commitments or add-ons form part of the Earth brand positioning rather than the broadband network itself.

Earth Broadband plans are not currently listed on Choose. Customers looking to switch or compare alternatives can use the broadband comparison tool above to see which providers are available at their address.

Because Earth Broadband uses the same underlying network as many other UK providers, performance is comparable to other Openreach-based services offering similar speed tiers. Differences between providers tend to relate to pricing, contract terms, customer support, and brand positioning rather than network technology.
