BT Sport has rebranded as TNT Sports following the formation of a joint venture between BT and Warner Bros. Discovery.
As of early 2025, Eurosport content has also been fully integrated into TNT Sports, bringing previously separate sports coverage into a single channel pack.
Prices for TNT Sports subscriptions have remained broadly similar, with options available through Sky, Virgin Media, BT and via the Discovery+ app.

Cheapest way to get TNT Sports
The lowest-cost way to get TNT Sports as part of a TV and broadband bundle is currently with BT TV or EE TV, where the Sport TV plan can be added to any BT or EE broadband package for £18 per month.
By default, this includes the TNT Sports channels in Standard Definition (SD). To watch in High Definition (HD) and access the TNT Sports Ultimate channel, customers need to add the HD pack for an extra £6 per month, bringing the total to £24 per month.
For customers who want HD and Ultra HD (UHD) viewing as standard, the cheapest option is Virgin Media Flex. The TNT Sports Collection costs £25 per month and includes all four TNT Sports channels in HD, as well as TNT Sports Ultimate. With the 10% bill credit applied, this effectively reduces the cost to £22.50 per month.
Virgin Media Flex is only available to households within Virgin Media's broadband network, so customers outside its coverage will need to consider nationwide options from Sky or BT.
Sky TV customers can add the TNT Sports pack to any Sky TV plan for £28 per month, or £25 per month when taken alongside Sky Sports.

TNT Sports is generally cheaper when added to a pay TV bundle, like those above, than when taken as a standalone subscription through Discovery+.
New customers can currently save up to £12.99 per month on a TNT Sports subscription by bundling it with TV and broadband. However, as the table above shows, the overall monthly cost will also include the base TV package and broadband, which are often required. For example, both BT and Virgin Media TV are only available alongside their broadband services.
The lowest-cost TNT Sports add-on is available with BT TV or EE TV, where customers can add TNT Sports for £18 per month on selected deals. Broadband prices start from around £27.99 per month for average download speeds of 150Mbps.
For customers who only want TNT Sports without taking a TV or broadband bundle, it's possible to subscribe directly via a Discovery+ TNT Sports Membership for £30.99 per month. This allows viewing on TVs, computers, tablets and smartphones using a compatible device and the Discovery+ app.
TNT Sports with broadband
TNT Sports subscriptions are available as part of TV and broadband bundles from Virgin Media, Sky, BT and EE. These options allow customers to watch TNT Sports on their main TV using a compatible set-top box provided by the chosen provider.

Of the providers listed above, Virgin Media offers the most comprehensive TNT Sports setup. All four channels are included in full 1080p HD, alongside the TNT Sports Ultimate channel in 4K. This applies to customers using Virgin Flex or adding the TNT Sports Collection to selected Mega TV bundles.
Sky TV customers receive the four TNT Sports channels in 1080p HD as standard. To access the TNT Sports Ultimate 4K channel, customers need to add Sky's Ultra HD pack for an additional £6 per month.
BT TV and EE TV customers receive the TNT Sports channels in SD by default. Upgrading to full 1080p HD costs an extra £6 per month, which also unlocks the TNT Sports Ultimate channel in 4K.
It's also possible to watch TNT Sports through TalkTalk TV on supported Android TV devices. In this case, TNT Sports is accessed via a separate Discovery+ subscription, rather than being bundled directly with the TV service.
For customers who don't want a TV or broadband bundle, TNT Sports can also be taken as a standalone subscription through Discovery+, priced at £30.99 per month.

TNT Sports with Virgin Media
Virgin Media is one of the cheapest ways to subscribe to TNT Sports in full HD. However, availability is limited to households within a Virgin Media-enabled area, which currently covers over 19 million premises, or around 60% of the UK.
For customers who can get Virgin Media, there are two main ways to subscribe: taking Virgin Media TV with a wider range of live channels, or opting for Virgin Media broadband with a Stream TV box and Flex.
Flex TV is typically the cheapest option, but it's worth noting that it only includes around 150 Freeview channels by default, with additional charges for premium content. Channel packs such as Entertainment, Sky Cinema and Sky Sports are available separately on rolling monthly contracts.
Customers who take TNT Sports as part of Virgin Media's pre-made TV bundles can add the channel pack for £25 per month. However, these bundles do not qualify for the 10% bill credit, which is exclusive to Virgin Flex.
Current TNT Sports pricing with Virgin Media includes:
| Package | TV | Broadband | Monthly price | Upfront price | Contract term | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
|
M125 Fibre Broadband + Flex + TNT Sports | 155 | 132Mb average | £52.49 | £10 | 24 months |
|
M350 Entertainment + Netflix + TNT Sports | 205 | 362Mb average | £59.99 | Free | 24 months |
With Virgin Media, TNT Sports is included in full 1080p HD as standard, along with access to the TNT Sports Ultimate channel in 4K.
To watch TNT Sports in Ultra HD, customers will also need a compatible 4K or 4K HDR television.

TNT Sports with BT
BT retains a 50% stake in TNT Sports, with the channels rebranding from BT Sport in July 2023.
Despite this, BT TV is not the most feature-complete way to watch TNT Sports.
BT TV customers receive the four main TNT Sports channels in Standard Definition (SD) by default. To watch in full 1080p HD and access the TNT Sports Ultimate channel in 4K, customers need to add the HD pack for an extra £6 per month.
Even with this additional cost, BT can still work out cheaper than Sky for some customers, although Sky subscribers also need to pay extra to access the TNT Sports Ultimate channel.
Below are two examples of BT TV and broadband plans that include TNT Sports:
| Package | TV | Broadband | Monthly price | Upfront price | Contract term | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
|
Sport TV + Full Fibre 300 | 100 | 300Mb average | £48.99 | Free | 24 months |
|
Big Sport TV + Full Fibre 300 | 100 | 300Mb average | £78.99 | Free | 24 months |
BT TV customers who take a plan with TNT Sports also receive Discovery+ TNT Sports & Entertainment at no extra cost, giving access to additional on-demand sports content, including programming previously shown on Eurosport.
BT's Big Sport plan costs more but bundles Sky Sports alongside TNT Sports, as well as access to Sky Sports+.
BT TV is only available to customers who also subscribe to BT broadband. However, broadband availability is nationwide and significantly wider than Virgin Media's network.
TNT Sports with EE
EE TV offers TNT Sports on the same pricing structure as BT, with the four main channels included in Standard Definition (SD) by default.
To watch TNT Sports in full 1080p HD and access the TNT Sports Ultimate channel in 4K, EE customers need to add the HD pack for an additional £6 per month.
Below are the current prices for EE's Sport TV and Big Sport TV bundles when taken with EE broadband:
| Package | TV | Broadband | Monthly price | Upfront price | Contract term | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
|
Sport TV + Full Fibre 150 | 100 | 150Mb average | £45.99 | Free | 24 months |
|
Big Sport TV + Full Fibre 150 | 100 | 150Mb average | £57.99 for 3 mths, then £75.99 |
Free | 24 months |
Like BT, EE TV customers who take TNT Sports also receive Discovery+ TNT Sports & Entertainment at no extra cost.
For customers who want broader sports coverage, EE's Big Sport plan bundles TNT Sports with Sky Sports and includes access to Sky Sports+.
EE TV is only available alongside EE broadband, but full fibre availability is nationwide and significantly wider than Virgin Media's network.
TNT Sports with Sky
Sky is one of the more expensive ways to add TNT Sports, with the pack costing £28 per month for the first 24 months, rising to £31 per month thereafter. At that point, it becomes slightly more expensive than subscribing directly through Discovery+.
For existing Sky customers, it's cheaper to bundle TNT Sports with Sky Sports. This reduces the price of the TNT Sports pack to £25 per month for the first 24 months, representing a £6 per month saving against the standard add-on price.
Sky's main advantage lies in the wider content included with its TV plans. Sky Entertainment and Netflix are included as standard, with optional upgrades available for Sky Sports, Sky Cinema and Sky Kids.
Sky customers also receive Discovery+ Entertainment at no extra cost, and Discovery+ TNT Sports & Entertainment when they add the TNT Sports pack. Unlike BT, all TNT Sports channels on Sky are included in full 1080p HD as standard.
As a result, while Sky's TNT Sports pricing appears higher at first glance, it often includes more bundled content than equivalent packages from Virgin Media or BT.
| Package | TV | Broadband | Monthly price | Upfront price | Contract term | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
|
Sky Essential TV + TNT Sports | 104 | N/a | £43 | Free | 24 months |
|
Sky Essential TV + TNT Sports + Full Fibre 150 | 104 | 150Mb average | £63 | Free | 24 months |
|
Sky Ultimate TV + TNT Sports + Full Fibre 150 | 146 | 150Mb average | £67 | Free | 24 months |
Sky TV offers more flexibility than some providers, as customers can subscribe to Sky Stream without also taking Sky broadband. However, as shown in the table above, additional discounts are available when broadband is bundled.
The TNT Sports pack on Sky includes the four main channels in full 1080p HD as standard. Unlike Virgin Media, however, TNT Sports Ultimate is not included by default.
To access TNT Sports Ultimate, Sky customers need to add the Ultra HD pack, which costs an extra £6 per month with Sky Stream. This also upgrades other Sky content to Ultra HD where available, including Sky Originals and Sky Atlantic.
Overall, Sky is not the cheapest way to watch TNT Sports. However, some customers may prefer Sky's TV platform for its wider entertainment offering and the option to subscribe without taking broadband. Sky Stream is available nationwide, provided customers have a minimum broadband speed of 25Mbps, or 30Mbps for Ultra HD viewing.

Verdict: How to subscribe to TNT Sports
While it's possible to subscribe to TNT Sports as a standalone service through a Discovery+ TNT Sports membership for £30.99 per month, the cheapest options are generally found in TV and broadband bundles.
BT and EE currently offer the lowest headline price for TNT Sports, with the pack available from £18 per month when added to selected broadband bundles. However, channels are included in SD by default, meaning customers need to pay an additional £6 per month to watch in full 1080p HD and access the TNT Sports Ultimate channel.
For customers who want HD and Ultra HD viewing included as standard, Virgin Media Flex is the cheapest option. With the 10% bill credit applied, TNT Sports costs £22.50 per month and includes all four channels in full 1080p HD, plus TNT Sports Ultimate in 4K.
Virgin Media's Entertainment + Netflix bundles can also be customised with TNT Sports for £25 per month. These include the same HD and UHD coverage as Flex, alongside faster Virgin Media broadband.
Customers looking to bundle TNT Sports with Sky Sports may find better value with Sky, particularly where discounts apply for taking both sports packs together.
Sky, BT, EE and Virgin Media Flex all offer TNT Sports on rolling monthly terms. Customers using other platforms, such as the TalkTalk Android TV Hub or Netgem 4K box, can also subscribe on a monthly basis via the Discovery+ app, though this is priced at the full £30.99 per month.
Overall, bundling TNT Sports with TV and broadband usually delivers the best value, but the right option will depend on broadband availability, picture quality requirements, and whether customers also want access to Sky Sports or other premium TV content.
