Virgin Media offers £150 bill credit on bundles

New customers signing up to one of Virgin Media's pre-made TV and broadband bundles can choose between a JBL Xtreme 3 Speaker or a £150 bill credit.

The offer runs from Monday 9th October, until Thursday 12th October, and is available for customers signing up through our Virgin Media deals page.

Bundles included in the offer are the Bigger Movie Combo Bundle, Bigger Sports HD Combo Bundle, Biggest Combo Bundle, and the new Mega Volt Bundle.

JBL Xtreme 3 Speaker

The JBL Xtreme 3 Speaker is a portable Bluetooth speaker that delivers up to 100 watts of sound through four amplifiers, including two woofers and two tweeters.

The speaker is waterproof to IP67 and dustproof making it ideal for trips to the beach, pool or park, and offers up to 15 hours of playback on a single charge.

The built-in battery is rechargeable over USB, and users can connect the device via Bluetooth to a smartphone, tablet or laptop to play music.

The JBL Xtreme 3 speaker currently retails for £231.99. It's one of JBL's latest models and is the second largest Bluetooth speaker available from the manufacturer.

£150 bill credit

While the JBL Xtreme 3 speaker is worth in excess of £200, customers who don't want or need a portable Bluetooth speaker can opt instead for a £150 bill credit.

The £150 will be added to a customer's Virgin Media bill, so will be deducted from future payments of the TV and broadband service and can help lower the cost over the course of the contract.

While it's possible to opt for the JBL Xtreme 3 speaker and then sell it on, it's not guaranteed what price it would necessarily fetch, so the £150 bill credit offer is a simpler choice for those who want a more straightforward money-off deal.

Eligible Virgin Media bundles

This special offer is available only to new customers signing up to Virgin Media, and includes the following TV and broadband bundles.

• Bigger Movie Combo Bundle: Over 200 TV channels, including the Sky Cinema pack and Sky Entertainment channels, plus M125 broadband and free weekend calls
• Bigger Sports HD Combo Bundle: Over 195 TV channels, including the Sky Sports pack and TNT Sports in HD, plus M250 broadband and free weekend calls
• Biggest Combo Bundle: Over 210 TV channels, including Sky Cinema, Sky Sports, TNT Sports, Sky Entertainment and Netflix Standard, plus M125 broadband and free weekend calls
• Mega Volt Bundle: Over 230 TV channels, including Sky Cinema HD, Sky Sports HD, TNT Sports, Sky Entertainment, kids pack, and Netflix Standard, plus M500 broadband and free anytime calls

The best value for money is found in the Bigger Movie and Bigger Sports bundles, and the Mega Volt bundle for households who want a wider range of content and faster broadband.

The Bigger Sports HD Combo Bundle is the place to watch Sky Sports and TNT Sports, with the Sky Sports pack receiving an upgrade to full 1080p HD in July 2023. Virgin Media is also one of the better places to watch TNT Sports, with all four channels included in HD and the TNT Sports Ultimate channel included as standard too.

The Mega Volt Bundle was launched fairly recently in September 2023, after it replaced the previous Ultimate Volt Bundle. While the bundle remains largely the same, the broadband package was downgraded from Gig1 to M500.
