Neil Hawkins

Neil Hawkins joined Choose as a staff writer in 2005 and later served as Contributing Editor until 2014. He holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Sussex and a Master's degree from Goldsmiths, University of London.

During his time at Choose, Neil brought a strong technical perspective to the site, drawing on over seven years' experience as a senior developer. Known within the team as the technical lead, he contributed informed commentary and opinion on emerging technologies, particularly where technology intersected with politics and public debate.
