Vodafone is extending Add to Plan to its broadband customers, letting them add eligible streaming services to their monthly bill.

Vodafone home broadband customers can now use 'Add to Plan' to pay for select streaming and gaming services directly through their Vodafone bill.

Introductory discounts include three months free Disney+, six months free discovery+, and two months free YouTube Premium, among others.

Amazon Prime, Xbox Game Pass, and PC Game Pass are also available through Add to Plan, with additional services expected in the future.

Vodafone 'Add to Plan'

Add to Plan - previously available only to Vodafone Pay Monthly mobile customers - is now being offered to home broadband customers, bringing subscription billing for entertainment into the broadband account.

The service aims to simplify billing by letting customers add subscription services to their broadband account. In some cases, customers may also benefit from discounted rates or introductory offers when using Add to Plan.

Combined billing is a new feature for home broadband customers, but one that may be gaining in popularity. Vodafone follows Virgin Media, which recently added a Netflix subscription to some broadband-only plans.

Vodafone home broadband customers can now combine bills for subscriptions including:

  • YouTube Premium
  • DAZN's Flexible Pass
  • Disney+
  • Crime+Investigation
  • Discovery+
  • Amazon Prime
  • XBOX Game Pass
  • PC Game Pass

Vodafone also says more services will be made available in the future.

Introductory offers

To coincide with the rollout of Add to Plan for broadband customers, Vodafone is offering several limited-time deals on popular streaming services:

  • Disney+ (Standard with ads) - three months free, then £5.99 per month (offer available until 3 December 2025)
  • discovery+ (Entertainment) - six months free, then £3.99 per month
  • YouTube Premium - two months free, then £12.99 per month
  • Crime+Investigation - three months free, then £4.99 per month
  • DAZN Flexible Pass - two months at £14.99 per month, then £24.99 per month

All subscriptions added through Add to Plan will automatically renew at their standard billing rates unless cancelled. Introductory deals let new users try services without upfront cost, but standard charges apply once the free or discounted period ends.

Customers can manage, pause, cancel, or upgrade subscriptions at any time via Vodafone's Subscription+ app, which provides a single place to track multiple services, stay on top of bills, and avoid unexpected charges or unwanted auto-renewals.

Subscription bundling for broadband

Bundling streaming service subscriptions with mobile phone bills is already common among UK providers.

EE offers EE Extras on its All Rounder and Full Works plans, while O2 includes O2 Extras on its Plus and Unlimited tariffs, with discounts on services such as TNT Sports. Vodafone has also offered Entertainment plans for mobile customers, and Three provides Paramount+ through its Three Your Way bundles.

However, adding streaming subscriptions to home broadband bills is still a new development, making Vodafone one of the first to extend this feature beyond mobile. The move signals an attempt to carve out a new unique selling point (USP) in an increasingly competitive broadband market.

With Virgin Media bundling Netflix on some broadband-only packages, and O2 closely linked to Virgin Media, it remains to be seen if other major providers - including Sky, BT, and EE, which already offer similar mobile and TV deals - will bring subscription bundling to broadband.
