Sky Sports is launching the UK's first-ever dedicated tennis channel, Sky Sports Tennis, in February 2024.
Sky Sports has announced a new home for tennis in the UK, with Sky Sports Tennis launching on pay TV services from 11th February 2024.
The channel will become available automatically for subscribers to the complete Sky Sports pack, including those watching through Virgin Media, all Sky boxes and NOW TV.
Coverage will include live action from the WTA Tour, ATP Tour and US Open, as well as expert analysis from former top British players Tim Henman and Laura Robson.
Sky Sports will be launching a dedicated tennis channel to new and existing customers subscribing to the Complete, Action, and Arena packages from 11th February 2024.
Those watching via Virgin Media, Sky, and NOW, will all receive the new Sky Sports Tennis channel.
Customers with access to the Sky Sports mobile app, the Sky TV app or red button and on NOW Bonus Streams will also be able to watch multiple live court streams at the same time, giving access to more live matches.
On Sky, the Sky Sports Tennis channel will launch on channel 408, before moving exclusively to 407 on 13th February, where it will remain. Viewers can also find the Sky Sports Tennis channel by voice search using the terms, "Sky Tennis", "Sky Sports Tennis", "Tennis channel", "New balls please", or "It was on the line".
Sky Sports Tennis comes after Sky Sports gained the exclusive live rights to the US Open, ATP Tour and WTA Tour last year, allowing them to offer over 4,000 matches and more than 80 tournaments a year.
The new tennis channel will launch with live coverage from the Hologic WTA Tour in Doha, followed by the ATP Tour in Rotterdam, before returning to Doha from 19th February with Rafael Nadal, Andy Murray, Andrey Rublev and Daniil Medvedev on court.
Sky Sports Managing Director, Jonathan Licht, said: "It's an exciting moment for Sky Sports as we launch a new home for tennis fans, and Sky Sports Tennis will give millions of homes easy access to watch the best players in the world all year round.
"We're proud to be the undisputed home of live sport for fans in the UK and Ireland, and this new channel will add value for our customers, enabling them to enjoy even more of the sports they love."
