Vodafone and Three UK are the latest broadband and mobile providers to announce steeper mid-contract price rises for customers.
From April 2026, Vodafone broadband bills will increase by £3.50 per month, while mobile plans will rise by £2.50 per month.
Three UK customers will also see their costs climb, with monthly charges set to rise by up to £1.50 on top of existing mid-contract increases from April 2026.
These hikes follow similar moves by other major UK networks, including BT, EE, Virgin Media, and O2, which have all raised their annual prices in recent months.

From 12 November 2025, new and re-contracting Vodafone home broadband and mobile customers will face higher annual mid-contract price rises.
Under the new terms, Vodafone broadband bills will increase by £3.50 per month (up from £3), pay monthly mobile plans will rise by £2.50 per month (up from £1.80), and SIM Only Basics plans will go up by £1.50 per month (up from £1).
These increases take effect each April, meaning customers signing up from November 2025 will see their first price rises in April 2026.
A Vodafone spokesperson said: "We know no one likes price rises, but they are essential for us to keep investing, innovating and providing best-in-class service."
Existing customers won't be affected by these changes unless they choose to renew or take out a new contract. Vodafone also emphasised that vulnerable customers on social tariffs, including Vodafone Essentials and VOXI For Now, will remain exempt from annual price increases.
When Three UK switched to pounds-and-pence-based mid-contract price rises in August 2024, the provider introduced a tiered system designed to make increases fairer by linking them to each plan's starting cost.
Unlike flat-rate rises, which can disproportionately impact customers on cheaper plans, Three's tiered structure ensures that smaller, lower-cost plans see smaller increases, while higher-value plans rise by more.
Initially, mobile plan prices rose by £1 to £1.50 per month depending on data allowance, while home 4G and 5G broadband plans increased by £2 per month.
From 9 November 2025, new and re-contracting customers will face higher mid-contract price rises ranging from £1.80 to £3.50 per month, depending on their plan:
While maintaining its tiered approach, Three UK says this structure continues to protect customers on lower-cost mobile plans. However, those on home broadband deals will now see a steeper rise of £1.50, bringing the increases closer in line with those seen on fixed-line broadband from Vodafone.
Vodafone and Three UK join BT, EE, Plusnet, Virgin Media, and O2, all of which have already increased their fixed, pounds-and-pence-based mid-contract rises since Ofcom banned inflation-linked and percentage-based price increases.
BT raised the amount new and renewing customers pay each year from £3 to £4 per month on 31 July 2025, while Virgin Media followed in October 2025, increasing annual rises from £3.50 to £4 per month.
O2, meanwhile, aligned with partner company Virgin Media, announcing that from 23 October 2025, its mobile plans would see mid-contract price rises of £2.50 per month, up from £1.80.
However, unlike BT and Virgin Media, O2 became the first provider to apply these higher rates retroactively to existing customers. Although affected users were given the option to cancel, all remaining contracts were automatically updated to reflect the new, higher increases.
These latest rises - particularly O2's decision to include existing customers - have drawn criticism from the Government and consumer groups, who argue the move unfairly penalises customers and goes against the "spirit of [Ofcom's] previous changes on pricing."
In response, Liz Kendall, Secretary of State for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT), has written an open letter calling on Ofcom to "look at in-contract price rises again.".
