Disney+ and ITVX are now sharing select content across both platforms.

ITVX viewers can now stream hit Disney+ shows like The Bear, Only Murders in the Building, and Loki for free.
Meanwhile, Disney+ UK subscribers have gained access to popular ITVX titles such as Mr Bates vs The Post Office and Love Island.
The content swap is part of a new agreement between the streaming giants aimed at bringing curated selections from each platform to a wider audience.

Following a joint announcement on 16th July 2025, the Disney+ and ITVX content swap is now live, with new titles streaming on both platforms under the banners 'A Taste of Disney+' and 'A Taste of ITVX'."
As of this week, ITVX viewers can enjoy a selection of popular Disney+ films and series for free, including Guardians of the Galaxy, Atlanta (Series 1), Andor (Series 1), and Futurama (Series 11).
Meanwhile, Disney+ subscribers in the UK have gained access to top ITVX dramas such as Mr Bates vs The Post Office, Karen Pirie, Grantchester, A Spy Among Friends, and Endeavour.
The collaboration offers a regularly updated slate of premium content aimed at introducing each platform's highlights to a broader audience - potentially encouraging users to explore full subscriptions.
Upcoming titles on ITVX will include Disney+ favourites like The Bear, Only Murders in the Building, and Lilo and Stitch: The Series, while Disney+ viewers can look forward to additional ITVX hits such as Love Island, Vera and Price of Perfection.
By rotating a curated selection of premium shows at no extra cost, this cross-platform initiative offers viewers a compelling preview of what each service has to offer.
Joe Earley, President, Direct-to-Consumer, Disney Entertainment said, "We are proud of this innovative collaboration with ITV, which will allow us to bring Disney+ customers some of the UK's favourite and buzzworthy shows and encourage ITVX viewers to discover some of Disney+'s award-winning series and blockbuster films."
Disney+ continues to gain momentum in the UK streaming market, increasing its share to 22% in Q2 2025, up from 20% at the start of the year - its highest level to date. According to data from JustWatch, this growth has narrowed the gap with its main competitors, with Netflix holding 26% and Prime Video steady at 24%.
In contrast, Netflix saw a slight decline, while Prime Video remained unchanged, suggesting that Disney+ is gaining traction through strategic moves like the ITVX collaboration.
ITVX, currently the fifth-largest streaming platform in the UK, held a steady 6% share, just behind Apple TV+ at 8%, but ahead of NOW (4%), Paramount+ (3%), and Channel 4's 4+ (2%). With this new partnership in place, both Disney+ and ITVX are well positioned to reach new audiences and strengthen their foothold in an increasingly competitive market.
A Taste of Disney+ is available to all ITVX customers, including those on the free ad-supported tier. Those who want to watch ad-free can pay £5.99 per month for ITVX Premium.
Disney+ starts at £4.99 for their Standard with Ads plan, while the ad-free Standard plan costs £8.99 per month, with viewing available in 1080p HD on both options.
It's possible to watch ITVX and Disney+ on Sky Stream and Sky Glass, as well as Virgin Media TV 360 and Stream boxes. Disney+ isn't yet supported by the BT/EE TV Box Pro, but customers can access the ITVX app.
