Disney Jr returns to Sky TV in HD across Sky Stream, Sky Glass, and Sky satellite platforms in November 2025.
Disney Jr HD will return to UK television on Thursday, 13 November 2025, launching on Sky Stream, Sky Glass, and Sky satellite platforms.
The channel will be available as part of the Sky Kids pack, accessible to Sky customers on Sky Stream, Sky Glass, Sky Q, and Sky+ devices, as well as through the Sky Go app.
Aimed at children aged two to seven, Disney Jr features a range of animated series including Spidey and His Amazing Friends, Minnie's Bow-Toons, SuperKitties, and Bluey.

From Thursday, 13 November 2025, both new and existing subscribers to Sky's Kids pack will gain an additional live channel, Disney Jr HD.
The launch marks the first time in five years that Disney's preschool channel will appear on the Sky TV guide.
Disney Jr, along with Disney Channel and Disney XD, was withdrawn from UK television on 1 October 2020, when Disney shifted its focus to its then-new streaming platform, Disney+, which had launched in March 2020.
While Disney+ has remained available as an app on Sky since its debut, Disney Jr HD will be the first of Disney's live channels to return to Sky's linear TV lineup.
From 13 November, all new and existing subscribers to Sky's Kids pack will gain access to the new live channel, bringing the total to 10 channels. The full lineup now includes Nickelodeon, Nick Jr, Nick Jr Too, Nicktoons, Cartoon Network, Cartoonito, Boomerang, Sky Kids, Baby TV, and now Disney Jr HD.
The Sky Kids pack costs £8 per month, though new Sky Stream and Sky Glass customers can add it for £6 per month for 24 months on a rolling 31-day term. Disney Jr HD programming will also be available on demand through Sky and via Sky Go for mobile viewing.
Although Virgin Media has yet to announce a similar deal to bring Disney Jr HD to its customers, NOW Entertainment members - including BT TV and EE TV users - are expected to benefit from the addition, as NOW channels mirror Sky's entertainment lineup.
Disney Jr's return adds a welcome boost to the UK children's TV landscape, following the announcement that the POP and Tiny POP free-to-air channels will close in December 2025 across Freeview, Sky, and Virgin Media.
While the POP brand will continue as an online FAST (Free Ad-Supported Television) channel, the POP Player app and website are set to shut down.
The closures follow the earlier end of CITV in September 2023, leaving CBBC and CBeebies as the only remaining free-to-air children's channels in the UK.
For many UK households, the relaunch of Disney Jr on Sky represents a nostalgic return to traditional TV for Disney's youngest fans. With its mix of familiar shows and colourful new series, Disney Jr HD once again takes its place in the living rooms of families across the country - this time, in sparkling high definition.
