Camera

The Apple iPhone 13 Mini has a double rear camera with two 12MP lenses. The wide camera is a 26mm wide lens (f/1.6) with dual pixel PDAF and sensor-shift OIS, while the second camera features a 13mm ultrawide lens (f/2.4). There is also a 12MP selfie camera on the front of the handset.

Video recording capabilities on the Apple iPhone 13 Mini allow 4K recording at 24/30/60 fps and 1080p recording at 30/60/120/240 fps. It also supports Dolby Vision HDR up to 60 fps for a higher dynamic range while recording.

As the smallest device in the iPhone 13 series, the iPhone 13 Mini does not have a telephoto lens as the Pro models do, nor does it come with a 3D depth sensor.

Display

The display on the Apple iPhone 13 Mini is a Super Retina XDR OLED panel. It has a 5.4-inch display protected by a scratch-resistant ceramic glass coating.

The refresh rate on the Apple iPhone 13 Mini is fixed at 60Hz, lower than the refresh rate featured in the Pro models. This means the screen refreshes 60 times per second, which is less than the premium models but still allows for a smooth and bright scrolling experience that will be enough for many users.

Storage

Customers can choose between three storage options for the Apple iPhone 13 Mini: 128GB, 256GB and 512GB. These all come with 4GB RAM.

Apple allow users to offload unused apps, photos and files into the cloud, meaning customers may be able to choose a lower capacity and still have access to enough storage.

The 512GB top limit on the Apple iPhone 13 Mini is lower than the 1TB available in some iPhone models and there is no option to expand storage on the device itself.

Design

The Apple iPhone 13 Mini is a smaller device than its siblings but maintains the iconic Apple design. It has curved edges to fit comfortably in the palm and has a glass body with an aluminium frame. The handset weighs 141g.

Apple reduced the notch on the Apple iPhone 13 Mini by 20%, meaning it does not take up as much room across the top of the display as it did on earlier models.

On the rear of the handset, the Apple iPhone 13 Mini has a diagonal camera module that juts out from the rear panel.

The Apple iPhone 13 Mini is available in a choice of six colours: Starlight, Midnight, Blue, Pink, Red and Green.
