Quick verdict
BT Full Fibre 300 offers average download speeds of 300Mbps and uploads of 49Mbps, with a Stay Fast Guarantee of 150Mbps. That gives it enough capacity for several people to stream, work from home, make video calls and play online games at the same time.
300Mbps is a less common speed tier, with many broadband providers jumping from packages around 150Mbps straight to 500Mbps. However, it fills a useful gap for medium-sized households that want more headroom for simultaneous use without necessarily needing a 500Mbps connection.
Full Fibre 300 can also save a few pounds per month compared with faster 500Mbps plans, while still being more than fast enough for most everyday household use. Its main limitation is the 49Mbps upload speed, which is considerably slower than the download connection and may matter to heavier users regularly uploading large files or backups.
